Saturday 16th of February to Sunday 1st of September

Between 11.00am and 4.00pm Harewood House will be running an extraordinary display in the Servants' Hall, Below Stairs.  David Uborne's collection of useful tools celebrates the 'beauty of simple, useful things' - many of these items having a purpose which is somewhat difficult to guess at.  Although originally meant to be functional, many of the objects on display have become 'accidental masterpieces' for their unusual nature and intriguing shapes.

The collection consists of over one hundred of these interesting articles, split into eight groups.  The display will run throughout the season at Harewood and you can find out more via the Harewood House Website or the Objectivity website.
